How many types of curricula are offered at GIIS Dubai?

At GIIS Dubai, we offer three different types of curricula. They are the Global Montessori Plus programme, CBSE programme till Grade 10 and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme that is taken up after 10th Grade.

What is Global Montessori Plus?

The GMP programme offers universally-acclaimed Montessori schooling in combination with our very own version of childhood education. Nursery to Kindergarten students come under this programme. This programme has 5 parts - Excelerate programme, Multi-faceted learning, iPlay programme, iCare programme and Future-ready programme.

What is the CBSE curriculum?

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a renowned pedagogy which prepares students from Classes 1 to 12 for competitive examinations while facilitating entry into the world's leading universities. This ensures an all-round development for students and also prepares them for future competitive exams.

The CBSE curriculum offered by GIIS Dubai is a combination of traditional CBSE methodologies and GIIS’s very own 9GEMS holistic educational framework.

What is the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme?

Secondary School students can take up this diploma programme after 10th Grade. It provides a solid foundation for students to build upon, on the road to university life. You can know more about the programme at the IBDP page on our website.

What is the 9Gems programme?

9Gems is a dynamic educational framework aimed at fostering all-round development of students through an integrated, holistic approach to learning. Under the 9Gems programme, it is understood that the students need more than academic skills in their repertoire to successfully overcome future challenges.

The overall subjects offered are - English, Hindi, Stem, Mathematics, EVA (Environmental Awareness), Dance and Music, Free play, Structured play and Montessori.
