Campus Tour

How many guests are allowed during campus tours?

In the light of the pandemic and CDC guidelines, prospective students are allowed to bring their parents or legal guardians during their campus visit at this time.

Are walk-ins available?

Walk-ins are not available. We encourage all visitors to pre-register for a campus tour using the form available on our admissions page.

What are the safety protocols in place?

To ensure the healthy and safety of everyone on our campus, we have the following safety protocols in place:

1. Visitors must wear face coverings at all times, whether inside or outside.
2. All visitors must undergo temperature checks and register their information at entrance prior to meeting with their tour guides.
3. All visitors must maintain social distancing (6-ft apart) guidelines at all times during the campus tour.

When are in-person campus tours offered?

In-person campus tours are offered throughout the academic year during official campus hours. Please pre-register for an in-person campus tour by submitting the form here.

How long are the campus tours?

The walking tour / virtual tour of our campus grounds, learning facilities, etc., typically lasts 45-60 minutes. We offer other tailored experiences such as admissions events and meetings with admission counselors to help you get better acquainted with our admissions process, student life, academic programmes, and extra-curricular offerings. Fees

Can I pay the fees monthly?

We do not provide monthly payments for admissions and term fees. The fees must be paid by the deadline indicated on the invoice.

If my child does not pass the assessment, will the registration fee be refunded?

Registration fee is non-refundable, therefore we do not provide any refunds or waivers.

Do you offer need-based scholarships for students?

We have various scholarships available for students. To know more about our scholarships, please visit our scholarships page.

Will there be a penalty if I miss the deadline for term fees?

If you miss the deadline for the term fees, you will be subject to a late payment fee.

How do I view and pay the admissions and term fees?

You can view and pay term fee invoices directly from your MyGIIS Parental Portal.

How do I check if my application is complete?

You can check your applications status on your applicant portal.

When will classes resume in-person?

Due to the pandemic, we have transited to virtual learning until further notice. We do not yet know when we will welcome students back on campus, however you will be notified of any change via email or newsletter.

What is the application deadline?

We offer admissions throughout the year so we do not have a strict application deadline. However, our admissions team starts reviewing applications each year in January so we encourage you to apply as early as possible since acceptance is dependent on seat availability.

When will I know if my child’s application has been accepted?

Our admissions team will start evaluating your application once we receive all the supporting documents. Once a decision is made, our admissions team will notify you via email, and will update your application status on the applicant portal.

What is the admissions process for transfer students?

Our goal at GIIS Meydan is to make the admissions process as simple as possible for every applicant. Therefore, the admissions process remains the same for local, international, and transfer students. To learn more about our admissions process, please visit the admissions page on our website.
